There really isn't any question about why Seth and Lara are together, or even who put them together. You could look to the past and see how they arrived at the present, the puzzle pieces fitting perfectly; but the road to where they are now is one that patience, trust and most importantly faith came into play.... but first, let's start with the basic story of how they met.

Lara, a staff writer for the Ram Page was assigned to cover student senate, of which Seth was the student body president. Already Lara had a skewed impression, this guy not only did not show up for an interview, but also writes for a "satirical" paper, otherwise known as the Ramdiculous Page.

After countless interviews and a late night conversation involving faith, future plans, current plans, etc, Seth began his pursuit of the beautiful and wonderful Lara Nichole Johnson. At first Lara pretended to ignore it... but finally she agreed to hang out with him. Seth invited her to watch a UT game at Texan Hall. At last minute, Lara decided it was a dumb idea, (conversing with the enemy...he did write for/work for/own Ramdiculous) and canceled. (Come to find out Seth gave up going home for his birthday and going to see the UT game in REAL LIFE...) Luckily, however, after a phone call from Damaris Campos and Alison Luna, Lara decided that off roading in Seth's jeep sounded dangerous, but that as Damaris put it, 'sometimes we just have to step out and take chances....'

So long story short... they fell in love. Lara saw a man, a leader and someone who was deeply in love with the Lord. Seth saw someone who was growing from past experiences and learning to find joy and satisfaction in the present. It took pursuit, prayer and patience, but the puzzle pieces lead to now... Seth asked Lara to marry him on March 24 when he took her off roading again-- the place they first saw each other's personality and began to know a little more of each other's heart. Obviously, their story isn't over...
